Ruby Elizabeth Powers, 94, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at Middle TN Medical Center. She was born in Johns, MS to the late Joseph Patterson Donnell and Abbie B. Gill Donnell. She was a homemaker and a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Jackson, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Powers; brothers, Clyde, Roy and Ray King Donnell. She is survived by her daughters, Janet McNaughton of Murfreesboro and Teresa (Joe) Johnson of Allen, TX; son, Mark (Marsha) Powers of Murfreesboro; sister, Joe Dean Ware of Vicksburg, MS; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 27, 2010 from 10:00 am until the service at 11:30 pm at Lakewood South Memorial Funeral Home in Jackson, MS. Burial to follow in the Lakewood Memorial Park South.
