Obituary of Margaret Anderson

Margaret Lewis Anderson passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011. She was born in New Haven, CT on January 31, 1919 and lived there until her marriage. Her parents were Dr. Samuel H. Braude M.D. and Mrs. Marion Lewis Braude. She had a brother Colonel Lincoln H. Braude who was a pilot in WWII. Her father died in WWI. She was married to Donald C. Anderson of Waukegan, IL and he was with United States Steel Corporation and they had many transfers around the country. They have one son Harry L. Anderson and a daughter-in-law Charlotte Anderson who lives in Gallatin, TN and a granddaughter Haley Anderson who lives in Hermitage, TN. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 4:00pm at First Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. John A. Hinkle Jr. She will be buried in South Carolina with her husband at River Hills Community Church Cemetery. She was a member of the PEO Sisterhood since 1966 and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro. In lieu of flowers the family asks for contributions to be made to First Presbyterian Church or the PEO Sisterhood. www.peointernational.org.
