I remember Roy, or Slim as he was known at that time, with fond memories. I worked with him at two RAF stations. The first was RAF Wyton where he was the Corporal overseeing me in the Air Camera Servicing Bay. The second was at RAF Laarbruch, Germany, when we served on 2(AC) squadron.
A quiet gentle giant. RIP Slim you'll be greatly missed by everyone you served with
