Nathie Mae McCurley, age 78 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019. She was originally from Alabama, but has resided in Murfreesboro for the past 47 years. She was a member of the Murfreesboro First Free Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents: David and Josephine Maples Montgomery, brother: Carl “Bubba” Montgomery, sisters: Francis Pickelsimer, Margie Wilson, and Reese Alexander.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James McCurley, sons: Rex McCurley, Scott McCurley, Patrick (Petina) McCurley, daughters: Deborah Confer, Sabrina (Mark) Donovan, Kandi Barrett, sister: Doris Smith, 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 4pm – 8pm and Friday, February 8, 2019 from 11am – 1pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with services to follow at 1pm in the chapel. Officiating will be Pastor David Humphrey.
