Obituary of Stephen Ray Ford
STEPHEN “BUBBY” RAY FORD Age 22
Stephen passed unexpectedly on October 27, 2018. He was a native of Rutherford County and a graduate of Riverdale High School in 2014, where he played football.
He is survived by his parents, Wilford and Carla(Kent) Ford; Seven brothers, Kristopher Taylor, Michael (Audrey) Ford, Brandon Ford, Douglas (Alycia) Ford, Dalton (Devin) Buckler, Kaidan Ford, Daniel Taylor; Two sisters, Mandy Lynch, and Kristyanna Ford; grandmother Libby Kent, dog Whiskey “Dude!!”, his “squishy” Jurnee Neal, his soulmate Courtney Jordan and countless friends and extended family.
He is proceeded in death by his granddaddy Doug Kent, his grandparents Ernest and Wanda Ford of Mcloud Oklahoma, and Cousin Tate Kent of Huntsville Alabama.
Stephen would walk into a room and become the center of attention, not by his choice, but because of his infectious laugh, contagious smile, and kind heart. His nature for caring for others more than himself was what everyone wants in a friend. Stephen never met a stranger. To know Stephen was to love him, you just could not help yourself but to love him. He was a beautiful soul who was giving with his entire heart.
Stephen had a love for drifting cars, his FRS, football; New England Patriots and Alabama Crimson Tide, to be specific. Stephen loved to entertain; he would try and usually succeed in flipping people upside down and sticking their feet into a ceiling fan. He was all about family, Thanksgiving being his favorite holiday, maybe for the food, but mostly for the huge gathering of family and friends. He carried on a family tradition as well, by “just giving the homeless a place to take a bath!”
His love for Kadian, Daniel, his parents, family, “blood brothers” and friends cannot be measured, it was endless. Words cannot express the pain and sorrow his passing has meant to every life that he has touched. Stephen will be greatly missed every second of every day, and can never be replaced. #DriftingInTheClouds
