Erma Marie Sledge, age 92 of Murfreesboro, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Mrs. Sledge was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was retired from White Stag.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Sally Henley Smith, husband: Charles W. Sledge, brothers: Gordon Smith, Benford Smith, Harold Smith, Ellis Smith, Edwin Smith, Lytle Smith, sisters: Wilma Pinkston, Mary Westbrooks, and Ann Windrow.

She is survived by her son: William Ronald (Sherrie) Sledge, daughters: Reba (Les) Schmidt and Joan (Butch) Vaughn, grandchildren: Jana Landers, Chris Sledge, Jeff Schmidt, Matt Sledge, Marianne Wollum, Shane Vaughn, Darrell Williams, Barry Williams 16 great grandchildren and brother: Marion Smith.

Visitation will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 10 am – 1 pm with services to follow at 1 pm in the chapel. Pastor John Vaughan will be officiating the services with interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
