Dorothy Davenport Walden age 88 of Murfreesboro, passed away Tuesday September 11, 2018. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Mattie Tucker Davenport. She is also preceded in death by her first husband A.J. Broiles her second husband Robert Walden, sister Wilma Thomas, and her brother Joe David Davenport.

Mrs. Walden is survived by her son; Buddy Broiles of Christiana, two grandchildren; Kerry Broiles, Krissy Broiles and 3 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Walden was retired from Roses Department Store. Visitation will be 11:00AM Friday until 12:30PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1:00PM Friday at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. F. Murray Mathis officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to thank Community Care of Rutherford County for their kind and loving care they provided.
