It is with great sadness that the family of Matthew Reed Hartquist announces his passing on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the age of 42

Matt was born in Sarasota, FL raised in Des Moines, IA, and currently resided in Murfreesboro, TN where he was employed at Murfreesboro Electric Department. In 2016, Matt graduated with Magna Cum Laude distinction from Strayer University with a degree in Business Administration.  Matt brought everyone  joy, whether through conversation, laughter, or song. He was also an avid fan of the Florida Gators and Dallas Cowboys, but what made him beam with pride was his family.

Matt will be lovingly remembered by many, including his wife, Tiffany; daughter, Chloe; son, Hunter; his parents, Larry and Dolores Hartquist; and father-in-law, David Colgrove; 3 brothers, Eddie (Prima); David (Lisa); Troy (Mia); brother-in-law, Derek Bough; sister-in-law, Valerie Colgrove; Matt will also be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. v

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 12:00pm at the address below: Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens
