Obituary of Charles Edward Young
Mr. Charles Edward Young age 76 of Milton passed away Monday August 27, 2018. He was the son of the late Jesse and Gertrude Manus Young.
Mr. Young is survived by his loving wife of 55 years; Peggy Young, son Mitch (Becky) Young of Milton, granddaughters; Nicole (Brandon) Rollins, Lindsey (Jonathan) Lackey, grandson; Chad Young, and four great-grandchildren; Lexi Burns, Waylon Lackey, Aidan Rollins and Owen Rollins. He is also survived by five brothers; Jesse “Sonny” (Ruby) Young, Horace (Martha) Young, Dorris (Karen) Young, Robert (Marilyn) Young, Paul (Brenda) Young and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Young was a member of Lascassas Baptist Church. He was a builder, farmer and retired from G.E. after 35 years of service.
Visitation will be 2:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Thursday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Brother Kenneth Summey and Jim Linder officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Chad Young, Charlie Young, Butch Young, Brandon Rollins, Jonathan Lackey, Howard Hunter, Howard Arnold and Wayne Watson serving as pallbearers.
