Janice Elaine Singleton, age 64 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018.

Janice was an active member of Creekmont General Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

She is preceded in death by her parents: G.B. and Layla Pirtle Short, brothers: Sam “Bub” Short, James “Jim” Short, Bobby Short, David Jewell Short, George Edward Short, Randall Short, a baby Short, and sister: Marie Nickens.

She was survived by her husband Randall Singleton of 40 years of marriage, son: Berry (Kristi) Singleton of Murfreesboro, grandchildren: Aubrey and Braxton Singleton, brothers: Charlie Short, Floyd (Wilma) Short, Allen (Carolyn) Short, Thurman (Lois) Short, Raymond (Shirley) Short, Roger “Rudy” (Brenda) Short, and sister” Betty (Odell) Oliver.

Visitation will be at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 11am – 2pm with service to follow in the chapel. Interment will be at Short Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Slaubaugh officiating.

Pallbearers will be Larry Milton, Bruce Short, Chad Short, Chris Short, Michael Short, and Tracy Oliver.
