Obituary of Rebecca LaClaire Sutton
Rebecca LaClair Sutton age 71 of Murfreesboro, went home to be with her Lord and Savior July 6, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Calvert and Lillian LaClair Searson. She is also preceded in death by her first husband; James W. Brolia, Jr.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by her husband of 20 years; Gerry Sutton of Murfreesboro, daughters; Marcella (Dale) Showalter of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Cindy Lawhorne of Jacksonville, FL., stepson; Scott Sutton of New Hope, VA., stepdaughter; Tonya (Ken) Cleveland of Verona, VA., grandchildren; Jessica Showalter, Jake Showalter, Cody Lawhorne, Dylan (Angela) Sutton, Tori Cleveland and Kristopher Cleveland. She is also survived by her two brothers; Jerry LaClair of Murfreesboro, Mike LaClair of West Virginia, and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be Monday July 9, 2018 from 5:00PM until time of service at 7:00PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Pastor Kenneth W. Massey and Joe Asbell will officiate. Burial will be in Augusta Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, Virginia at a later date. In lieu flowers, The Sutton family request that memorials be made to the Murfreesboro Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund or to The American Cancer Society.
