Obituary of Janice Edwina Cox

Janice Edwina Cox age 85 of Franklin went home to be with her Lord and Savior July 4, 2018. Born in Macon, Mississippi she was the daughter of the late W.E. and Tressie Burage Cotton. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Russ Cox.

Mrs. Cox is survived by her daughters; Linda (Charles) Cox Thrasher of North Carolina, Donna (Pat) Williams of Antioch, 2 grandchildren; Brittany (Tim) Kelleher, Courtney Williams and 2 great-grandchildren; Brady and Rowan Kelleher. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Bennie McCartney and Carol (Helaine) Trahan.

Mrs. Cox was a retired teacher and was a member of First Baptist Church Murfreesboro, where she taught Sunday School.

Visitation will be 10:00AM Saturday with Funeral Service at 1:00PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pam Pilote officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
