Obituary of Doyle Linden "Pete" Fox

Doyle Linden “Pete” Fox aka “Stranger” age 82 of Fosterville, formerly of Murfreesboro passed away Tuesday April 24, 2018 after an extended illness. He was a graduate of Bell Buckle High School and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a proud member of Local 480 and member of the Sam Davis Lodge. He retired from Roadway Express in 1991.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Olga Carter Fox. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years; JoAnn Chrisman Fox; son Eddie (Debi) Fox, daughter; Christy Fox Baltimore, grandson; Forrest Hester, great-grandchildren; Alana, Cian, Tanner Hester, his sisters; Billye (Roy) Nance, Virginia (Bobby) Black, Marie (Bing) Spence, his brother; John Fox, sister-in-law; Robbie C. Adcock. He is also survived by special friends; John (Jenny) Fox, Lee Young and men of the Fosterville community and many nieces and nephews. He loved talking, driving, fishing and Tennessee football.

Visitation will be Friday April 27, 2018 from 2:00PM until Memorial Service at 6:00PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
