Obituary of Lynette Druery Phillips

Lynette Margaret Druery Phillips of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed from this life suddenly on April 14, 2018.  She was born May 21, 1950 in Wangaratta, Australia to her parents John Edwin Druery and Bette Harrison Druery Bonanno who proceeded her in death.  She was also proceeded in death by her Mother in Law Iris Pearl Stanley Phillips and Father in Law Clyde Phillips.

Lynette is survived by her husband of 29 years Richard Dwayne Phillips; Daughter Jeanette Ford Durham and husband Tyson of Murfreesboro, TN; Step daughter Heather Phillips Harris and husband Jody of Walland, TN; Grandchildren, Johnathan and Christian Durham, Kirkland, Sarah, and Emily Cooper, and Landon Harris; Great granddaughter Gracelynn Cooper.  Brothers Ronald (John) Druery of Germany, Francesco (David) Bonanno and Anthony (Gary) Bonanno of Sicily, and Simone (Milton) Bonanno of Australia. 

In addition to being a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt, Mrs. Phillips was a beloved friend and neighbor to many.  She met everyone with a smile.  Lynette was truly a blessing to all who knew her. 

Mrs. Phillips wishes were to be cremated.  The family will have a memorial service at Murfreesboro Funeral Home at 3:00 pm Saturday April 21, 2018, with visitation from 1:00 pm until service time.

Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family asks in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the memorial fund in Lynette’s name to Murfreesboro Funeral Home, 145 Innsbrooke Blvd., Murfreesboro, TN 37128.
