Each time we embrace a memory, we meet again with those we love for the heart never forgets. With love and condolences, Rachel

Hello,
My name is Lee. I am deeply sorry for the death of your loved one. Losing someone like this is unexpected and heart breaking. Something that has always helped me in these times is the scriptures on comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 calls God "the Father of tender mercies and the God of ALL COMFORT." Not only does your family grieve this lose, but God does as well. When creating the earth, death was not a part of any of it! Sadly, due to Adam and Eve sinning, the world we live in now sees that dreaded enemy death. Jehovah (God's name) has something for that enemy though. 1 Corinthians 15:26 says "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to NOTHING." Soon we won't experience death, but rather life on a paradise earth! This includes Mr. Fortney as well for the scriptures also say there will be a resurrection for our loved ones at John 5:28-29. I know this message was unexpected and you don't know me, but everything I am saying is not to upset you, but to hopefully bring you a sense of comfort. Your family is in my prayers.

- I cannot remove the hurt and pain of this dark and awful day
- I cannot lift your sorrows nor take the hurt away
- But there is something I can do
- I can pledge my love and support and ever to be true.
As you know, I spoke with your father two weeks ago. He asked me to look over you in his absence and I will fulfil that promise with rigour.
I love you Little One

To the family of Rob. Sorry to learn of your loss. I don't really know Rob personally but have seen him on a few occassions in Chiangmai Digital Nomad gatherings. He comes across as an affable and knowledgable person. His passion about what he does for a living also shone through. Rob inspired me to want to more, to better myself on a daily basis by his energy and sharing mentality. I was actually looking forward to attending his next meetup. So I was shocked to learn of this news. He will be missed. R.I.P Rob.

Rob Fortney had the kind of personality that makes a great impression on you, and leaves a large hole to fill when it's gone. I miss him sincerely, but I'll always be glad to know that he lived life on his own terms during the time that I knew him.
A funny, generous, good soul - he will be greatly missed!

Rob was a wonderful person. I only knew him for a short while when I was working at 3 Brothers, but he was a kind person who always treated me well.

The pastor at my infant nephews funeral said it's ok to laugh at a funeral. I think there will be plenty of shared memories and laughs. I'm sorry they have to be under these circumstances.
