Mrs Raetz ( Ms. Deb) , I met your husband one time about a year ago. Like they say first impressions mean a lot. I’ve gotten to know you a little bit from coming in to McDonald’s and the impression that I got from your husband was, he is as sweet as you. I am so sorry for all the changes in your life. I know he will truly be missed by you and anyone else that has met him.

Hello,
My name is Lee. I am deeply sorry for the death of your loved one. Losing someone like this is unexpected and heart breaking. Something that has always helped me in these times is the scriptures on comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 calls God "the Father of tender mercies and the God of ALL COMFORT." Not only does your family grieve this lose, but God does as well. When creating the earth, death was not a part of any of it! Sadly, due to Adam and Eve sinning, the world we live in now sees that dreaded enemy death. Jehovah (God's name) has something for that enemy though. 1 Corinthians 15:26 says "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to NOTHING." Soon we won't experience death, but rather life on a paradise earth! This includes Mr. Raetz as well for the scriptures also say there will be a resurrection for our loved ones at John 5:28-29. I know this message was unexpected and you don't know me, but everything I am saying is not to upset you, but to hopefully bring you a sense of comfort. Your family is in my prayers.
