Theodore "Ted" Marx, age 91, of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Adams Place. Mr. Marx was a native of Port Huron, MI and a longtime resident of Philadelphia, PA. He was a member of King of Prussia Church of Christ and a retired Commander of the United States Navy.
Mr. Marx was preceded in death by his parents, Frank W. and Josephine Crackel Marx. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Nance Marx; children, Ted Marx Jr. of California; Michael Marx of Texas; Susan Marx of Texas; Anita Untersee of Texas; step children, Mark Scott of Utah; Karina Anderson of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Alex, Anna, Eric; sister, Marie Sneltzer of California.
Graveside service will be Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 2:30pm at Hazel Cemetery with Bro. Roy Nance officiating and with full Military Honors.
