Obituary of Ann Haynes Dill
Ann Marie Haynes Dill, born September 14, 1928 in Murfreesboro, TN, died September 12, 2017 after an extended illness. She was a native of Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Butler Dill.
She was a piano student of Patrick O’Sullivan, Dean of Music, Sienna College, attended Mid-South Bible Institute, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary of Fort Worth, TX, and Middle Tennessee State University.
Ann had been active in the Stones River Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Murfreesboro Chapter # 91. She was also a member of the Bible Study Fellowship and Murfreesboro Christian Women’s Club. Most of her adult life she taught ladies Sunday school classes.
She leaves two sons, Danny Joe (Lisa Schilling) and David Haynes (Colette Sprink), along with grandchildren Autumn Dill (Jeff Nakkula), Katie Dill (Josh Farmer), Michael Dill, and Steven Dill and great grandchildren Isaac Nakkula, Andrew Robinson, and Wyatt Farmer as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at Evergreen cemetery with Reverend Charles McKnight officiating. Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
