Obituary of Clyde Thomas Adams

Clyde "Thomas" Adams 65, of Christiana, Tennessee passed away Monday, August 21, 2017. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Saturday August 26 at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home. A Celebration of life will follow at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Lantern Lane Farm, equine assisted therapy. For inquires please contact Michelle Conckle at 615-594-4011.

Thomas was born March 14, 1952 in Murfreesboro Tennessee to Dexter Adams Sr. and Mammie Louise Harrel Adams. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Brenda Herrod Adams; children, Christy (Mike) Hicks and Melinda Adams both of Murfreesboro ; siblings, Christine (Mike) Adams Scheide and Dexter (Miranda) Adams, both of Murfreesboro. Also surviving grandchildren, Chelsie Hicks and Hayden Adams, and several nieces and nephews.

Thomas lived his life loving, worshiping, and serving the Lord. He served 33 years as a Murfreesboro Fire Fighter. He was currently working for Tennessee Livestock Producers AKA "The Goat Barn" and took his Papa job very seriously.He was an avid coon hunter and rider of Tennessee Walking Horses. He enjoyed fishing in this spring fed pond where he kept his named pet fish. He enjoyed Camp Phoenix.

Thomas truly lived life to the fullest. He never met a stranger. Everyone he met was very special to him in their own way

from horse riders, hunters, goat farmers, chicken wranglers, sons he never had, his cowgirls, and many, many more.
