Jessie Clayton Smith, age 75, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was born on September 29, 1941 to Earnest Clayton Smith and Pauline McCormick Smith. He was a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Ann Smith; son, Timothy Smith; granddaughters, Andrea Denise Smith and Hannah Nichole Smith; great grandson, Zoen; brother, Walter Smith and a sister, Patricia Hunt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Kenneth Hale and Steve Pendergrast officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
