I pray for the comfort of the Lord for your family. David was one of the first people I met in Nashville when I got my first real music business job playing piano for Skeeter Davis in 1976. His easy-going personality and Christian testimony I have never forgotten. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

David was a good, decent and gentle man. He was also a good bass player that I had the pleasure of working with in Skeeter Davis' band. He brought a smile to everyone around him and made them fell comfortable with his clever dry wit. Sorry that Gay and I could not attend visitation or the services.
