Obituary of David Kress

David M. Kress, age 60 of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007 at his residence. A native of Ashland, KY, Mr. Kress was a member of England Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Catlettsburg, KY and was a former J C member in Boyd Co., KY. David worked for the United States Postal Service and also served in the United States Army. David is survived by his wife, Sheila Wooten Kress of Murfreesboro; two sons, Eric Matthew Kress of Ashland, KY and Chad Kress of Murfreesboro; parents, William Ervin and Mildred Kress of Ashland, KY; brother, Edward Kress of Catlettsburg, KY; sister, Brenda Jill Reed of Ashland, KY; grandchildren, Erica, Mary, Chase Dylan and Addyson Rylee Kress. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, July 7, 2007 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home and on Monday, July 9, 2007 at Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg, KY from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Neal Funeral Home starting at 10:00 am with Rev. Grant Sammons officiating. Burial to follow in the Golden Oaks cemetery.
