Obituary of Geraldine Horsley

Geraldine Horsley, age 83, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford. Mrs. Horsley is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ruby Weatherford; brothers, Joe H. Weatherford, William Clyde Weatherford, Gerald Weatherford (my twin); sisters, Brownie Hickman, Annie Sands, Bertie Mae Hickman, and Ruth Wells. Survivors are her husband, Robert G. Horsley; children, Kevin Rains (Valerie), Henry Hall, Carla Rains Perakes, all of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Erick Horsley (Genise) of Milford, Michigan, Paula Horsley Atkin (Michael) of Ortonville, Michigan, and Kurt Horsley (Tucky) of White Lake, Michigan; grandchildren,Emily and Evan Perakes, Danielle and Devin Rains of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Shannon Crosby and Ales Atkin of Ortonville, Michigan, Leslie Martin of Georgia, Tommy and Sean Horsley, Lonnie Locke and Crystal Locke of White Lake Michigan, Rachel H. Paga, Joshua and Abigail Horsley of Milford, Michigan; great grandson, Maison Van Perakes; nieces and nephews, Kenneth Hickman (Patricia), Sandra White (Larry), Joyce Dugger (Bob), Linda Tomlin (Wayne), Doug Hickman, Mike Hickman (Jody), Bobby Sands (Beth), Larry Sands (Sandy), Robert Sands (Samuel), and Pam Michalowski (Bryan). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm. Burial will be on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
