Sylvia Craig, 74 of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Craig was born in Nashville to the late Rufus and Gracie Huber Bell. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Mrs. Craig was preceded by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Taylor of Nashville; Sherry (Ray) Merritt of Murfreesboro; Shannon (Steve Young) Williams of Nunnelly; sons, Malcolm W. Williams III of La Vergne; Marshall W. (Isabella) Williams of La Vergne; grandson, who she raised as her son, Chad Williams; 12 other special grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Monday, September 26, 2011 at 11:00am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Monday, September 26, 2011 at 1:00pm at Springhill Cemetery.
