Marjorie Louise McKay, age 88, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Captain Walter McKay.
She was fond of a witty joke and anything pink. Louise was born in Louisiana and later moved to Alabama, California then Tennessee. She graduated from LSU with a degree in Accounting. She loved to garden and cook great meals for family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Lee Ware and James Nicholas Ware; daughters Trish Louise Gibson, Marti Elizabeth Henderson and Diane Michele French. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the 7th floor doctors and staff at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. Visitation with the family will be from 5pm to 7pm, on Wednesday, January 25th, 2017 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
