Bonnie Jean Shipley, age 69, passed away surrounded by her family, January 15, 2017. She positively affected the lives of hundreds of children during her life, as a mother, grandmother, child care giver, Sunday school teacher and God Mother. She was an active member of the Lutheran Church.
Bonnie is survived by her 4 children; daughter, Christine (Steve) Marmion; son, Daniel (Lisa) Shipley; daughter, Amanda (J.D.) Hobbs; son, Jesse (Angela) Shipley; Grandchildren, Avery, Jolene, Addison, Becca, R.J., Sophie, Jack, Junie, and Ellie; sister, Barbara Vester; bother, Herb Hinrichs, & many friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 9-11am, followed by the funeral at 11am at the Abiding Faith Lutheran Church, 10411 Old Nashville Hwy, Smyrna, TN 37167. Burial will follow at Mapleview Cemetery.
Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
