Burnice M. Moon, age 93 years, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born in Connellsville, PA, April 25, 1923: a daughter of the late John A. Hayes and Mary Kenner Hayes Firestone. She was a 1940 graduate of Connellsville High School, and attended Franklin Business School of Washington, NJ. She was employed by Western Union until her marriage in 1949 and was Protestant by faith.
She is survived by two daughters; Lindsay A. Triplett and husband, David of Morgantown, WV, and Amy L. Moon of Murfreesboro, TN; two grandchildren, Connor McCluskey of Nashville, TN and Kirby Lin Triplett, of Morgantown, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Wilbert Dale Moon who died April 24, 1998; two brothers Andrew W. Hayes of Mobile, AL and John R. Hayes, who died in his early youth.
There will be no public viewing or visitation.
Interment will be at a later date in Greenridge Memorial Park of Connellsville, PA.
