Obituary of Ovie Jo Johnson

Ovie Jo Johnson, age 84, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her residence. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Cecil and Nancy Betty Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Alexander Andrew Johnson; sons, Sky Johnson, Guy Johnson, Judge Johnson; daughters, Ann Johnson and Elaine Tyree; brothers, Hobart Johnson, Adam Johnson, Henry Johnson; and sister, Idalou Johnson.
She is survived by her daughters, Mable Bain of Coffee County, Ocie Bain of Murfreesboro, Debra and Wayne Stanley of Murfreesboro, Tina and Johnny Bain of Readyville and Penny Tidwell of Murfreesboro; 22 grandchildren, 49 great – grandchildren, 9 great – great – grandchildren and her sisters, Sudie Anderson, Allean Bush, Geneva Mathis, Nancy Prater and Betty Stacey all of Murfreesboro. Several Nephews and Nieces also survive.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00pm Tuesday August 16th at Murfreesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services. (615) 896-2229
