Jimmy Edward Baker, Sr. age 70, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2016. He was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee on November 15, 1945 to Lloyd and Claudine Baker.
Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Baker; daughters, Laurie Baker and Natalie McDowell; son, Jimmy (Melissa) Baker, Jr.; three grandchildren, Ethan McDowell, Wes McDowell, and Addison Baker; and two brothers, Harold (Sue) Baker and Gary (Kim) Baker.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 23, at 2:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Byers officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Barfield Baptist Church Building fund or the charity of the donor’s choice.
