John Raymond Lamb, born November 3, 1953, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center of Murfreesboro.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Marion and Mattie Ella Lamb, Mother, Helen Joyce Blakely, Mom, Sandra Fay Lamb and sister, Debra Hanvey.
Johnny is survived by his father, Bobby M. Lamb, siblings, Jane (Tom) Vermillion, Buck (Sharon) Buchanan, Linda (Bob) Sanborn, Danny Lamb, Darlene Cantrell (Lucynda Land), Bobbie Turner, Barbara (Scott) Knerr, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center for their wonderful care.
Johnny loved the Lord and told others about him when given the chance.
Visitation will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 24, 2016 in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home at 10:00 am with Pastor Joe Vinson officiating. Burial will be in Cothran Cemetery.
Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
