Louis J. Marino went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 6, 2018. He was born on April 8, 1937 to Luis and Stella (Pizzina) Marino in Akron, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Elsie LaSalle, brother, William Marino, and a grandson, Jeffrey Burkhart.

Louie lived in Crestline as a child and the Mansfield area where he worked as a supervisor for General Motors for 33 years until he retired in 1991. Louie was a member ot St. Josepph's Church in Crestline, Ohio, and became a member of St. Rose of Lima in Murfreesboro when he moved.

Louie is survived by his loving wife, Glenna, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; daughter, Teresa (Jeff) Burkhart of Lexington, Ohio; granddaughter, Nicole (Erik) Garlitz, their children, Ryan and Luke Garlitz; grandson, Alex (Lizzie) Burkhart; son John (Denise) Marino of Huntington Beach, California, grandson Niko Marion and grandson Bryce Marino; stepdaughter, Melissa Morton of Phoenix, Arizona, her son, Chad (Shana) Morton, their children, Breyley, Brayden and Edyn; stepdaughter, Michelle Morton of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; stepdaughter, Marna (Jeff) Crane of Denton, Texas, their children, Caleb, Joshua, Elijah, Rachel, Hannah, and Lydia; stepdaughter, Marta (Trent) Riley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, their children, Mason, Wesley, Rebekkah, Jessikah, and Margaret; and stepdaughter, Melinda (Darrell) Hunt of Woodbury, Tennessee.

Louie will be missed greatly by his family and step-family. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and ability to tell stories to entertain everyone he knew. He always called it "sitting around telling lies." He was a family man and could tell a story about everyone in his family. He loved to go to his grandchildren's events, from storytime at school for Granparent's day, to baseball games, Boy Scout events, surfing events, and award ceremonies. When all was said and done, his favorite thing was to sit and visit for hours.

Memorial and burial services are pending and are to be held at St. Joseph's Church and Cemetery in Crestline, Ohio.
