Obituary of Ronnie Lee Ross

Ronnie Lee Ross age 68 of Leanna Community passed away Wednesday August 30, 2017. Born in Wilson County, he was the son of the late Charlie “Nub” and Lorene Young Ross. He is also preceded in death by his son; Kelly Lee Ross.

Mr. Ross is survived by his wife of 49 years; Jennie Ross, three sons; Gary Ross, Matt Ross, Mark Ross and his wife Blake all of Murfreesboro, three grandchildren; Gracyn (Papa’s Girl) Ross, Landon (Lil Man) Ross, Marshall (Lil Pistol) Ross. He is also survived by his brother; Mike Ross and his wife Karen of Ohio and a host of many nieces, nephews alongside many family and friends.

Mr. Ross was a member of Jefferson Pike Church of Christ, an Army Veteran and was retired from Bridgestone Corporation. He loved his retirement years, especially playing golf with his friends, T.C., Big Dog and Duck.

Visitation with the Ross family will be 4:00PM until 9:00PM Friday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home 145 Innsbrooke Blvd. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday at Jefferson Pike Church of Christ, 218 Jefferson Pike, LaVergne Tennessee with Brother Jimmy Carver officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Chris Tucker, Jamie Carver, Timmy Tucker, George Ross, James Ross, Michael Ross, Ray Jennings, John Jennings, Rick Wilson and Bob Broshears serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of Jefferson Pike Church of Christ.
