Betty Jean Holloway, age 79 passed away Friday, March 3, 2017.
Preceded in death by husband, Hoyet Holloway; parents Clinton and Allene VanMeter.
Survived by daughter and best friend Jacque (George) Zimmermann; sisters Frances Underwood and Mary (Richard) Kirk; brothers Louis Larson and Robert “Bob” (Peggy) Larson.
Betty was a perfect example of unconditional love and was an instant friend to everyone she met. She lived her Christian life by example. She attended World Outreach Church and retired form Metro Health Dept.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Mapleview Cemetery, Smyrna, TN
Memorials may be made to Nashville Humane Association
