Mrs. Edith Mae Domeny Anderson was born Jan. 12, 1920 in Red Rock, OK and she died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 at the age of 94.
Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of the late Harry Owen and Bessie Mae Fowler Domeny. She was married to Vern Edwin Anderson Sr. who passed away Feb. 1, 1991. Mrs. Edith was a member of the Windrow Church of Christ. She was a retired LPN.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Edwina Mae Cundiff Watson, 2 brothers, Elmer and Earl Domeny and sister, Beulah Beals.
Survivors include 2 sons, Vern (Candy) Anderson, Jr. and Larry D.(Bonnie) Anderson both of Rockvale, TN, 1 daughter, Sharon Ann (Bryan) Sweeney of Murfreesboro, son-in-law, Jim Watson of Rockvale, TN, 1 sister, Helen Ratliff of Perry, OK. 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild also survive.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015 11 AM to 3 PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Cole officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memory Gardens
