Gladys Elois Carrithers Clark age 93 of Murfreesboro passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Clark was born September 29, 1921 in Bullett County, Kentucky to the late Joseph Raisor and Ledia Jones Raisor. She was married to Wesley Clark of Murfreesboro who survives.
Survivors in addition to her husband include 1 Grandson, Allen (Rhonda) Carrithers of Murfreesboro, 3 Granddaughters, Angela (Carrithers) Phelps of Louisville, KY, Robin (Dan) (Carrithers) Henretty of Cincinnati, Ohio and Caroline (Carrithers) Lee of Louisville, KY. Several great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren also survive. She is also survived by her best buddies, Tojo and Kole her little Shi-tzus.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents and 1 Son, Garrow Carrithers.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 6, 2014 4-8 PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with funeral services being conducted on Friday, November 7, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Her husband Wesley Clark will officiate her services. Graveside services and internment will be Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Mount Washington Cemetery in Mount Washington, KY at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial can be made the Gentiva Hospice.
