Mary Kathryn Hannon, age 69 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away unexpectedly and left a lot of broken hearts on Sunday, January 14, 2024. She was born on January 29, 1954, in Corbin, KY. Kathy was a hard worker with 3 career jobs: Dana, Gibson Guitar, and Cumberland Pharmaceuticals. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin McKeehan; sister, Linda Mershon; nephew, Drew Mershon; and ex-husband/best friend, David Hannon. She is survived by her mother, Mary Frances McKeehan; sister, Vickie Andrews; nieces, Morgan Zuch; Meghan Andrews (Travis) Couey; nephew, Louis James Andrews; pets, Ziggy; Zoey; numerous beloved aunts and cousins; and significant other, Robert Cole. Kathy was an amazing daughter and caregiver. She was the rock of the family and took care of her mother on behalf of the entire family. Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 5pm – 7pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7pm with Pastor Bob Bush officiating.
