Mark Douglas Brown, age 72 of Murfreesboro, TN went to his heavenly home on Monday, January 8, 2024. He was born on October 8, 1951, in Muncie, IN to the late Clarence H. and Mildred M. Brunton Brown. He is survived by his wife, Marilou H. Brown. They were married for almost 50 years, but they met in kindergarten and have known each other for 67 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Amy (Ivy) Brown; son, Zachary A. Brown; grandchildren, Aaron (Maranda) White; Meghan DeBeaord; Nathan DeBeaord; great grandchildren, Manning White; Miley White; McCoy White; and brother, Jeffrey Brown. Visitation with the family will be held at Fellowship United Methodist Church, 2511 New Salem Highway, Murfreesboro, TN 37128, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 1pm – 3pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 3pm with Dr. Trey Carey, Rev. Don Morris, and Lee Alexander officiating. Mark was a loyal member of Fellowship United Methodist Church. He taught ESL and served on several committees. Mark loved music, animals, & gardening; and everyone loved him. Murfreesboro Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brown family.
