Obituary of David Clark Miller

David “Clark” Miller, age 74 passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 with his loving family by his side at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville, TN Preceded in death by his loving parents Henry and Dorothy Miller and brother James Miller. He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years Teresa Powell Miller; children Kristie (Benny) Turner, Bryant (Jamie) Miller, Tonya (Leslie) Herman and Dominic (Brigit) Gillot,; his loving grandchildren Hannah, Hunter, Gracie, Abby, Miranda, Jeanne, and Louis; siblings Lois (Thurman) Short, Ann Richards, and Faye (Doyle) Lewis,; sister-in-law Brenda Miller, and his fur babies Smokey and Willow. Clark was a devoted Christian and served as a Deacon at Midland Baptist Church and served as a director of the Midland Journey of Hope. He also served in the US Air Force. Clark and his son own and operate Miller Electric, He was a mentor to many in his business, he also coached and mentored youth during his many years of youth softball teams. Clark was a loving husband, father, greatest Papa ever and friend, he was a man of many words who never met a stranger. We are blessed to have such a great man and his legacy will continue through all of us. Visitation with the family will be 2:00-8:00pm Sunday, December 31, 2023 and 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday, January 1, 2024 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Monday, January 1, 2024 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Doug Mitchell, Donnie Clemmons, and TJ Jernigan officiating. Interment to follow at Fox Family Cemetery, Christiana Tennessee, grandson and nephew will serve as pallbearers.
