Freeda Dixon Winstead, age 83, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
Preceded in death by Husband William “Doug” Winstead; parents Ira and Elizabeth Dixon.
Survived by daughter Tammy (Steven) Metzgar; grandchildren Halle and Chloe Metzgar; brother Owen (Verna) Dixon; sisters Nancy Scarbrough and Patricia Young.
Mrs. Winstead was a teacher until her retirement at Bellwood Christian Academy and attended church at Bellwood Baptist. She now attended Franklin Road Baptist Church.
Visitation with the family will be 1:00-2:00 pm Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Franklin Road Baptist Church with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm, with Dr. Mike Norris officiating, interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
