Obituary of John Wesley Deters
John Wesley Deters, Age 79 passed away Nov 9th 2018 of congestive heart failure. Born in Dayton Ohio July 3, 1939
John served in the U.S. Marines for 10 years. After his Marine Corp service John joined and retired from the Dayton Ohio Fire Department. During John’s Fire Fighting career he was an owner in an insurance company in Centerville Ohio. John was a member and once president of the Dayton Lions Club.
Survived by his wife Margie Deters, two children, Teresa and Tony, and four step children Patricia Dalton, Robert Dalton, Thomas Dalton, and Maurice Brown.
He was a loving husband and father. John was always willing to help others and will be greatly missed.
A Gathering will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
