James Wesley McCartney, age 69, of Smyrna, passed away Nov 24, 2016. He was preceded death by his parents, Guy Wesley and Josephine Jane(Cramer) McCartney of Leipsic, OH, and sister Patricia Ann (McCartney) Stone(Gene) of Hanover, PA. He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene Trudy(Simacek) McCartney, and adoring children, Kimberly Ann McCartney Beecham (Timothy) and Guy William McCartney (Dana) all of Murfreesboro, his brother Timothy Guy McCartney (Laura) of Fostoria, OH, and sister Sandra Jo McCartney of Leipsic, OH. He was retired from his supervision title at Mahle Tennex. Jim was a doting grandfather of 6 grandchildren, TJ, Matthew and Kayla Beecham; Ashlee, Brittany and Corri McCartney along with 2 great grandchildren. A special thank you to his hospice nurse Chelsea for all the care given to the Patrich of the McCartney family. We could not have asked for a better nurse and thank you from all of the McCartney family.
