Yvonne Wray, age 71, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Taylor Wray and Coretta Young Wray; son, Dennis Ray Akins; granddaughter, Kristy Akins Ketcherside; brother, Charles Taylor Wray, Jr. and sister Sharon Darlene Wray Vaughn.
She is survived by her husband, Roy D. Scruggs; daughters, Cheri Lynn Akins Roberts (Rod) and Donna Jo Akins Davis (Terry); 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and best friend, Ruth Scruggs.
She was an avid artist and was founder of Ray Vonn Studios in Smyrna, Tennessee. She loved to go junkin, traveling and lived life to the fullest.
Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society
There will be no visitation or services.
Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
