Mildred Faye Smotherman age 79, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
She was preceded in death by Parents Lester Lee and Margaret Singleton; Husband, Rex Smotherman; Mother In Law, Bettie Lofton; Brothers, Henry Singleton and Buford Singleton.
She is survived by: Dear friend and companion, Harris Florida; Sons, Randy Smotherman and Jeff Smotherman (Cindy); Granddaughters, Nicole Richardson (Jason), Brooke Smotherman, Sarah Smotherman, Andrea Smotherman and Great Granddaughter Sarah Brooke Richardson, Sister Lucy Carmichael (Jerry), and many nieces and nephews.
Mildred attended World Outreach Church. She was a life long antique dealer and shop owner in Murfreesboro and Franklin. She was a charter member of the Murfreesboro Antique Association, as well as the Murfreesboro Antique Show. She was also a member of the Woman’s Club. Mildred was a devoted mother and grandmother.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Murfreesboro Funeral Home Sunday, October 16, 2016, from 12-2pm, followed by the funeral service at 2pm
