James Q. Hinson "Jimmy" age 71, passed away May 5, 2016 at his home in Murfreesboro under the care of his wife Marie, daughter Tabetha, and Caris Hospice. Born to James and Curtis Hinson in Tampa Florida came to Murfreesboro where he spent most of his life. As owner and operator of AutoGlas Unlimited, Jimmy and Marie made many friends and business acquaintances. Jimmy loved a day at the ballpark, fishing with Alex and Blake, being creative and crafty with almost anything. If it was broken he fixed it. Jimmy especially loved his family. He was of the Baptist faith and a Veteran of the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Curtis Hinson, sister Mary Helen Pope. He is survived by his wife Marie Hinson, son Kevin Hinson (Christy), daughter Tabetha Shultz (Donny Brewster), grandchildren John Singleton, Quinn and Andrew Hinson, Hope and Grace Hinson, Cortney and Cameron Barrett, Alex and Blake Shultz, 6 great grandchildren, Brothers: Don Hinson (Carol), Robert Miller, Sister: Mary McLaughin along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 5-8 pm with service Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 11 am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Intermit will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Quinn Hinson, Andrew Hinson, Joe Sain, Wendall Eakin, Jerry Bowen, and Alan Barrett. Bill Lee will be officiating.
