Eugene Plichta, age 84, died Turesday, March 22, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro. Originally from Staten Island, NY, and later Holbrook, NY, he had lived in Murfreesboro, TN since 1996.
Born on April 8, 1931, he was the son of the late John Plichta and Aniela Koscholowska Plichta.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Genovese Plichta, and His brother, Edward Plichta.
He is survived by his three children, including his daughter, Annette (Walt) Smith of Rockvale, TN and his grandsons, Sean Plichta of Murfreesboro and Nolan Smith and Tate Smith of Rockvale. Hw is also Survived by his brother, Steven Palmer of Ohio and sister, Stella Genovese of Staten Island, NY
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
