Melinda Elmore Hand, age 69, of Doyle, TN passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
Born on August 19, 1956, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Robert and Maxine Ruffin Elmore.
She was a Church of Christ and a registered nurse. Her last 14 years, she was a nurse at Alive Hospice.
Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Christopher Elmore.
Survived by he loving husband of 43 years, Thomas Hand; son, Artie (Whitney) Hand; stepson, Jeff Hand; stepdaughter, Dawn Shepard; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
She was a kind and loving wife. Everyone she ever met, she treated with kindness and respect. She volunteered her time in Sparta with anyone who may have needed help. Most of all she dearly loved her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her home on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 6:00pm at 234 Riverside Lane, Doyle, TN. 38559.
