Randy Gene Blurton, 71 passed away at home in Prattville, Alabama on October 6, 2025.
Randy was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 27, 1954, to Arnie and Myrtle Blurton. He retired from Murfreesboro Water and Sewer Department after 40 years of service as a Lab Supervisor.
Randy is survived by his wife Marie and stepson Michael Gonzales. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnie and Myrtle, and a daughter, Lynn Hernandez.
Randy had five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Randy always had a love for all racing and college football.
Funeral services will be at Murfreesboro Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, TN on November 9th. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the service at 3:00 pm with burial following at Coleman Cemetery on Old Woodbury Highway in Murfreesboro.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association.
