William A. Hooten, age 76, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, after a brief illness.
Bill was born July 21, 1949, to the late JW and Pearl Hooten.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Hooten; sons, William Kirk (Tammie) Hooten; Jim Garrett Hooten; grandchildren, Nikolas Hooten; William Garrett (Taylor) Hooten; Kaylee Hooten; Emma Hooten; sister, Peggy (Bob) Collins of Tuscaloosa, AL.; and brother Anthony (Angela) Hooten of Huntsville, AL.
Bill graduated from Marshall County High, MTSU, and Charis Bible College.
Bill also served proudly in the US Marine Corps.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 1pm – 3pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow in the chapel. Bob Collins will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Bill's name to American Cancer Society, Tunnels to Towers, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
