Linda Sue Holloway, age 77 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born on February 22, 1948, in Macomb, IL. to the late Paul and Inez Rouse.

She was a member of Community of Christ Church and worked at Cendant Travel as a supervisor for 21 years and loved her agents as if they were her own children.

Also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Crawley; brothers, Ric Rouse; and Jimmy Rouse.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Jim Holloway; daughter, Julie Gourley; son, Tony Holloway; sister, Marcia Stewart; brother, Tony (Kathy) Rouse; and many beloved family members.

Sue was a Sunday school teacher, a youth minister and youth camp counselor and loved her campers as her own kids. She loved the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team and most of all loved her family dearly.

Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 4pm – 6pm with the service to follow at 6pm in the chapel. Pastors Adam Long and Cherry Koehler will be officiating. Interment will be held later at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
