I enjoyed working at Cherry Hill Supermarket with Ron Petzak for several years. I was sad when Bug’s contacted me to tell me of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his extended family. Rest in peace Ron! Sincerely, Bob & Kay Wyns Dunn

To my beloved Grandpa,
You were more than just a grandfather; you were my guiding star and the heart of our family. Your kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched everyone around you. I cherish the countless memories we shared—the stories you told, the laughter we enjoyed, and the lessons you taught me about life and love.
Your strength and resilience inspired me every day. I am forever grateful for your unwavering support and the warmth of your embrace. Though you may no longer be with us, your love will always be a part of me.
Thank you for being my hero and my friend. I will carry your legacy in my heart, and I promise to honor you by living with the same passion and kindness you showed to others.
Rest peacefully, Grandpa. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
With all my love,
Hayley Petzak

Prayers to his family and friends ❤️ I met Butch over 11 years ago when my company started hosting an annual golf tournament at Indian Hills every year. Butch was always so nice to us working the tournament and was so fun to be around. He would do anything we asked him to do to help us. He will be missed!

So many great memories with Uncle Butch and the whole family. So many snowmobile weekends. His blue SnowJet and dads yellow SkiDoos. I think later Butch might have had an Arctic Cat. Dad (Uncle Dick) was already up in Shelby with his snowmobile(s) when the big blizzard of 1978 hit, so we were stuck in the house back in Holland without any means of getting around. Mom and Dad and Uncle Butch and Aunt Carol would often go snowmobiling into the wee hours of the morning and then us kids could ride during daylight hours. His smile and laugh were so infectious, always greeting us with a big grin and a hug! It was so sad when he moved to Tennessee as we hardly saw him after that. Looking forward to seeing him and Aunt Carol and all the family some day!

In loving memory of my grandpa Petzak (Butch), a kind and gentle soul whose hard work and dedication never went unnoticed. He was the embodiment of love and support, always there to guide me through life’s lessons.
I’ll forever cherish the moments we shared, especially those afternoons and late nights spent playing bottle cap hockey in the garage. Those simple games were filled with laughter and joy, teaching me the importance of fun and connection. He not only taught me how to ride a bike but also how to navigate life with grace and kindness.
As the best grandfather, he showed me what it means to be a caring sister and daughter. His legacy of hard work and love will continue to inspire me every day. Though he has left this world, his spirit will forever remain in my heart ❤️

Uncle Butch was always one of my favorites, I’ll never forget he called me Shoogy, which I think was a form of Sugar for as long as I remember ☺️. I wish I could have spent more time with him in the last several years, but couldn’t because he loved too far away. Love you uncle Butch❤️
